What Is The Best Electric Strapping Tool/Machine?
Electric strapping machines make strapping a breeze and your life a lot easier if you’re strapping a lot of tiles, slabs, packaging, boxes, or lumber.
While there are not a lot of companies that make battery powered strapping machines, I have found one that has worked out great for the company I work for.
The Automatic Strapping Tool I Recommend
The one we use is made by a company called Okvequip. Based on what I saw when I was purchasing one, there seems to be only one manufacturer but a lot of companies are putting their names on it.
I like this specific model because it comes with two batteries, and since each last for at least four hours it covers a full work day before needing a recharge.
We have never had a problem with the batteries running out, and even if you would they recharge relatively quickly in 90 minutes.
It can take a little time to get used to using an electric strapping tool but once you do it’s going to save you a lot of time.
Make Sure You Buy The Right Strapping Rolls
The company recommends using 5/8″ polyester strapping with these machines.

You can not use nylon or steel straps.
How Long Will The Battery Last?
Each battery lasts four hours and can be recharged up to 2000 times.
It takes about 90 minutes to recharge one battery. A charger is included and you can charge one battery while using the second one.
